This auxiliary sun shade extender is specifically designed for use with car seats only. (Car seat not included. Not compatible with strollers.)

Important before purchasing: The sun shade is intentionally designed with a soft, flexible frame to prevent breakage from external force or impact. While it’s not rigid by design, it’s enough to maintain its shape when properly installed on a car seat. Please watch the installation video to understand how it works and fits on different car seats.

Portable, convenient and travel friendly

Due to its flexible frame construction, the sun shade can easily fold and put into a provided storage pouch when not in use and also you can conveniently carry anywhere when you travel. You may find the sun shade being a bit soft and flimsy. The frame of the sun shade is flexible and soft to prevent breaking from external force for safety reasons. It’s flexible and soft, yet it’s strong enough to keep the sun shade in shape while installed on the car seats.

Easy positioning

Freely position the sun shade forward or backward along with the 3 level length adjustment for most effective protection against sun light.

3 level length adjustment

You can easily shorten the length of the sun shade by tucking under starting from the front of the sun shade one level at a time.

Secure straps

Use the elastic buckle straps to secure against the headrest with side bolsters. Depending on the size and position of the headrest you can use either one of the two cut out inserts to secure the elastic straps.Note: it is important that plastic buckle is facing outwards as shown above.

Wide range of compatibility

It’s flexible and easy installation design allows the use on to various type of car seats in the market including booster car seats, toddle car seats and infant car seats. Installing on a booster car seat with a headrest

Cover the sun shade on top of the headrest.Note: use clothes steamer to get rid of the wrinkles if necessary. Do not use iron.

Secure the car seat with elastic buckle straps on the side bolsters of the headrest.

There are two cut outs to insert the elastic straps on each side.Choose the best position of the cut outs depending on the size of the head rest and insert the elastic strap

Adjust the length of the elastic strap to secure tight.Important: Plastic buckle must be facing outside of the sun shade as shown above.

Adjust the sun shade using 3 level length adjustment depending on the level of coverage you need.

Proper installation allows the sun shade to adjust to it’s desired height along with the headrest adjustment since it attaches to the head rest.

Installing on an convertable car seat with a headrest

Insert the both side of the sun shade between the gap of the headrest and the main body of the car seat.Note: use clothes steamer to get rid of the wrinkles if necessary. Do not use iron.

Insert the back of the sun shade between the gap of the head rest and the main body of the car seat.Secure the car seat with elastic buckle straps on the side bolsters of the headrest.

Extend the sun shade to desired length.Note: Use of elastic buckle is optional depending on the shape of the head rest. If the head rest has the two sides where you can secure with elastic straps have the plastic buckle facing outwards to secure.

Adjust the sun shade coverage using 3 level length adjustment.

Installing on an infant car seat

Place the sun shade on top of car seat’s canopy.Note: use clothes steamer to get rid of the wrinkles if necessary. Do not use iron.

Cover the back of the car seat with the sun shade’s rear part.

Car seat’s handle can move above the sun shade to any position.Note: use of elastic buckle strap is not required but you may be able to find places where you can secure the sun shade with the straps. (e.g. the pivot points or hinges at each end of the handle)

Adjust the sun shade coverage using 3 level length adjustment.

When pulled down all the way, it creates a cozy environment for sleeping. No more blankets!
